On the 9th October one of our volunteers Mike, successfully made two deliveries for the Billericay foodbank. This showcased the capability of the e-bike, kindly donated by Ford UK, and a trailer that can carry up to 40kg of food – equivalent to the weekly shop for a family of 4.
BCC hopes that the Billericay foodbank can continue to use this e-bike and trailer to make their deliveries easier in congested town centre locations where parking can be tricky.
